The Role
Porters play a vital role in the heartbeat of our resort, providing the essential logistics and coordination that keep our accommodation villages running smoothly.
As an Accommodation Porter, you are the backbone of the team, ensuring that every guests home-away-from-home is fully equipped and ready for their arrival. This is a varied, fast-paced \"get stuck in\" role where no two days are the same. Whether youre managing linen logistics or handling routine maintenance, your work makes a real difference to our guests' holiday experience.
Working Hours & Pattern
This role requires full commitment during our busiest periods. Mondays and Fridays are essential, with shifts falling between 9:00 am and 9:00 pm.
Working to a rota, you will work an additional 3 days throughout the week, creating a 5-day schedule that includes a mixture of weekdays and weekends.
Key Responsibilities
Your main focus is the heavy lifting and coordination that keeps our villages guest-ready. You will be responsible for accepting linen deliveries and distributing clean supplies across the resort, as well as transporting heavier items, white goods, and fresh mattresses.
The role involves routine maintenance tasks, professional carpet cleaning, and conducting vital Health & Safety checks.
Requirements

• Driving: You must be at least 21 years old and hold a full UK driving license to operate company vehicles on resort for insurance purposes.
• Physical Fitness: This is a highly demanding manual role. Youll need a good level of physical fitness and the ability to handle frequent manual lifting and moving of heavy items.
• Team Spirit: We are looking for reliable team players who thrive in a busy environment and are happy to try new things to support the wider operation.
