An exceptional and rapidly growing specialist autism provision in West London is seeking a dedicated KS2 Teacher (Autism Specialist) to join its expanding team. This KS2 Teacher (Autism Specialist) opportunity is ideal for a compassionate educator with extensive experience supporting KS2 pupils with special educational needs, including planning and delivering engaging lessons.
The school currently supports 40 pupils on site, meaning the role would allow small class sizes where lessons can be individualised to students needs. The provision is highly structured, with every child supported by a 1:1 adult at all times, enabling a deeply personalised and responsive approach to learning where activities are typically adapted every 15–20 minutes to meet individual needs.
The role offers 42 days of paid leave a year, along with complimentary breakfasts and drinks, and funded celebratory events. The school will support the appointed teacher financially with professional development qualifications throughout to support them in this role.

KS2 Teacher (Autism Specialist) – Role Overview:
- Lead teaching for KS2 pupils with autism within a specialist provision as a KS2 Teacher (Autism Specialist)
- Deliver highly structured, engaging, and adaptive lessons tailored to individual learning profiles
- Work closely with 1:1 Teaching Assistants to ensure consistent and effective support for every child
- Help to introduce and develop a broader KS2 curriculum across newly established teaching spaces
- Support pupils in building communication, independence, emotional regulation, and life skills
- Contribute to the development of high-quality, autism-specific teaching practice across the setting
- UK QTS (essential for the successfully appointed KS2 teacher)
- Strong experience working with children with autism or complex SEN needs
- A calm, patient, and highly adaptable teaching style
- Passion for structured, individualised, and play-informed learning approaches
- Ability to work effectively within a highly supportive, multi-disciplinary environment as a KS2 Teacher (Autism Specialist)
- Commitment to helping pupils make meaningful progress in independence and confidence
