Our client is a wildly successful family-run business with a heritage lasting over 100 years. Starting from a single site in Europe, they have grown into an international success story with operations in 18 countries. They have a track record of high performance - UK headcount has grown 50% in the last few years – and well above average employee tenure when compared to other businesses in their sector.

Well, now that out of breath describing the business, let’s start with the role.

This newly created senior management role will see you own the whole process from product ordering from the parent companies all the way through to delivery of trusted product to your customer base. This will include; procurement, purchasing, inventory management, strategy creation, supplier relations, demand planning/management and the management of a decent sized team covering these functions.

So where do you fit in?

• You’re a seasoned supply chain leader who has been operating in a senior position for at least 5 years
• Degree/qualifications in supply chain management or similar
• You’re experienced in international supply chain management
• You’re a big fan of continuous improvement initiatives and can implement process improvement strategies
• You’re a empathetic leader who uses great emotional intelligence to empower and motivate your department
