Support Worker

Support Worker - Chertsey
£25,845 per year (pro rata) / Full time 39 hours a week

Having a full UK manual driving licence would be great for this role, as it really helps with getting out and about with the people we support

We're on the lookout for passionate and caring Support Workers with some experience to join our brilliant team at our 12-bed residential service in Chertsey. Right now, we've got 4 men and 8 women living with us, mostly needing 2 to 1 support, with some requiring 3 to 1. It's fair to say the support needs are pretty high here - there's manual handling involved, wheelchair users, and personal care support.

Person Centred Active Support is at the heart of everything we do, and we're looking for like-minded support workers to join us in supporting young adults with:

• Autism / Learning disabilities
• Physical disabilities
• Dementia
• Behaviours that challenge

No two days are the same, but you'll be:

• Supporting people to live independently and enjoy their everyday activities
• Encouraging social connections with family, friends, and the local community
• Helping out with finances, household tasks, and shopping
• Providing respectful, person-centred personal care
• Most importantly - creating those brilliant moments of joy and achievement!
