The Role - As Head of MFL, you will:

• Lead and manage the MFL department, driving excellence in teaching and learning
• Develop and implement a dynamic MFL curriculum across Key Stages 3, 4, and potentially 5
• Inspire both students and staff through innovative and engaging language teaching
• Monitor progress and attainment, ensuring outstanding outcomes in MFL subjects
• Support and develop teaching staff within the department
• Contribute to whole-school leadership as an influential Head of MFL

 
The ideal Head of MFL will:

• Have strong subject knowledge in one or more modern foreign languages
• Demonstrate successful teaching experience with a track record of strong results
• Possess leadership qualities or experience suited to a Head of MFL position
• Be passionate about promoting language learning and global awareness
• Be a collaborative and forward-thinking Head of MFL who contributes positively to school life
