About the Role
We are currently recruiting Primary Teaching Assistants to support schools across Swansea. These roles offer a high level of flexibility, allowing you to choose working patterns that suit your availability and preferences.
This is an excellent opportunity for both newly qualified and experienced candidates seeking supply work, with the potential for longer-term placements based on performance and school needs. Immediate starts are available.
Contract Details
- Location: Swansea
- Position: Supply Teaching Assistant
- Start Date: ASAP
- Contract Type: Flexible supply (short-term and potential long-term opportunities)
- Working Pattern: Full-time and part-time options available
- Pay Rate: From £89.76 per day
- Hours: Typical school hours (e.g. 8:30am - 3:00pm)
Experience, Training and Qualifications
- Relevant qualifications (QTS or equivalent is desirable)
- Up-to-date safeguarding training (can be provided free of charge)
- Experience working with children in an educational setting is advantageous
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for this role, you must:
- Have the right to work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service, or be willing to obtain one
- Provide two professional references covering the last two years, relating to work with children
