French Teacher – Doncaster Location: Doncaster Contract: Long-term (ASAP – End of Academic Year) → Permanent from September 2026 Salary: £170–£220 per day (until July) | MPS/UPS from September PK Education are working with a secondary school in Doncaster who are looking to appoint a French Teacher immediately, with a clear pathway into a permanent role from September 2026. This is a great opportunity to secure a long-term position while also trialling the school ahead of a permanent appointment. The initial requirement is to cover until the end of the academic year, with a permanent vacancy becoming available in September due to a planned departure within the MFL department. About the School & Department The school has a calm and structured environment, with clear behaviour systems in place and strong support from leadership. Staff work collaboratively, and there is a consistent approach across departments. The MFL department is stable and supportive, with shared resources and a clear curriculum. There is a strong focus on building students’ confidence in speaking and listening, alongside developing reading and writing skills. The Role You will be teaching French across KS3 and KS4, delivering engaging and structured lessons using existing schemes of work. The focus is on maintaining consistency for students through to the end of the academic year, before transitioning into a permanent role in September.
