We're looking for a passionate Lecturer in Plumbing to inspire the next generation of skilled tradespeople and help shape the future workforce.

Plan, prepare and assess learning activities, ensuring students receive timely and constructive feedback.

Act as a Personal Tutor, providing guidance, support and pastoral care to learners.

Monitor student progress, attendance and achievement, maintaining accurate records.

Contribute to curriculum development and continuous improvement activities.

Support learners in achieving their qualifications and progressing into employment or further study.

Develop strong links with employers and contribute to work placement opportunities.

Participate in open evenings, recruitment events and wider college activities.

Skills/Experience: Industry experience within Plumbing and a strong understanding of current industry practices.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and motivate learners of all ages and backgrounds.

Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.

Confident using IT systems and digital tools to support teaching and learning.

Previous teaching experience or experience supporting apprentices in the workplace is desirable Qualifications: Minimum Level 3 NVQ qualification in Plumbing or a relevant trade discipline.

GCSE Grade C/4 or above (or equivalent) in English and Maths.

Teaching qualification or willingness to work towards a Level 5 Teaching Qualification within the required timeframe.

Relevant industry and professional qualifications are desirable.

Assessor and/or Internal Verifier qualifications are desirable.
