About the role

Production Operative 12 Months Radway Green 37 hours per week Inside IR35 I am looking for a Production Operative with a strong manufacturing/production background to join our client, BAE Systems, at their Radway Green site. The role is focused specifically on following the Manufacturing instructions & following the guidance of the Cell Leader. Role Responsibilities • Routine duties & assisting other operatives. • Preparation of raw materials for processing • Packaging finished goods. • Loading vehicles • Cleaning of work areas/maintaining standards • Report to the Cell Leader Typical Knowledge, Skills, and Qualification Requirements Essential • Competent in Data Capture & SAP • Experience in working in a manufacturing / production environment. • Strong Interpersonal/Team Management Skills • Awareness of Continuous Improvement Tools • Capable of maintaining appropriate standards • Innovation and Problem Solving • Two-way Communication • Drive and Commitment Desirable • ESM Awareness or equivalent • Good understanding of lean principles • Quality Awareness • Ability to demonstrate leadership. Pay rates: Standard shift (07:30-16:30) - £17.41/hr Two-Shift (06:00-14:00/14:00-22:00 swap weekly) - £21.41/hr PAYE Three-Shift (06:00-14:00/14:00-22:00/22:00-06:00 swap weekly) - £21.77/hr PAYE *Shift patterns are selected by the client.
