Reference: Job ID: Posted: Closing date: Location: LondonSalary: Up to 65k (per annum)Job type: PermanentWorking pattern: Full timeIndustry: Banking & Financial Services / Employee RelationsCompany: HaysConsultant: Ashaune Hamilton-HoweHays office: London-City — 5th Floor, 107 Cheapside,Phone: Email: Your new role Reporting into the HRteam, you will provide specialist employee relations support across a range ofcomplex casework and people initiatives, with responsibilities including: Managing a varied caseload ofemployee relations matters, including disciplinary, grievance, capabilityand absence cases Conducting investigations intoworkplace concerns and preparing detailed case documentation andrecommendations Providing employee relationsadvice and guidance to managers in line with company policies and UKemployment legislation Supporting formal hearings andmeetings, ensuring a fair, consistent and compliant approach Acting as a key escalationpoint for complex employee relations queries Advising on reasonableadjustments and coordinating occupational health referrals where required Supporting mediation andinformal resolution of workplace conflicts Monitoring employee relationstrends and producing insights to support proactive people initiatives Assisting with the review,development and communication of HR policies and procedures Maintaining accurate employeerelations records and documentation for audit and reporting purposes Supporting employee engagement,wellbeing and inclusion initiatives across the business Building strong relationshipswith stakeholders across HR and the wider organisation What you'll need to succeed Proven experience in anEmployee Relations Advisor, ER Specialist or HR Advisor role with a strongemployee relations focus Strong working knowledge of UKemployment law and employee relations best practice Experience managing complexemployee relations cases from investigation through to resolution Excellent advisory, coachingand stakeholder management skills Strong investigation,problem-solving and report-writing capabilities Experience working within alarge, complex or regulated environment Ability to handle sensitive andconfidential information with professionalism and discretion Strong organisational skillswith the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively Experience using HR systems andmaintaining accurate employee records Exposure to employee relationsreporting, data analysis and trend monitoring would be advantageous Previous experience withinfinancial services, professional services or another regulated environmentwould be beneficial What you'll get in return: Up to 60,000 Hybrid working: 2-3 days in theoffice Competitive benefits package Professional development andcareer progression opportunities What you need to do now If you're interestedin this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, orcall us now.If this job isn'tquite right for you, but you are looking for a new position, please contact usfor a confidential discussion about your career # - Ashaune Hamilton-Howe
