Yard & Warehouse Operative (Forklift Licence Required) About the Role We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Yard & Warehouse Operative This hands-on role involves managing stock, loading and unloading deliveries, maintaining an organised yard and warehouse environment, and operating a forklift safely and efficiently. The successful candidate will hold a valid forklift licence and have experience working in a warehouse, yard, or similar operational environment. Key Responsibilities * Loading and unloading vehicles using a forklift truck * Receiving, checking, and storing incoming stock * Picking, packing, and preparing orders for dispatch * Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised yard and warehouse * Carrying out stock checks and inventory control * Assisting customers and suppliers when required * Following all health and safety procedures * Supporting the wider operations team with general warehouse and yard duties Requirements * Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (essential) * Previous warehouse and/or yard experience * Good understanding of health and safety practices * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Strong attention to detail and organisational skills * Good level of physical fitness * Reliable, punctual, and positive attitude
