We are looking for skilled and dependable Steel Fixers to join a busy construction site, working with a reputable contractor. This is a great opportunity for experienced operatives seeking competitive rates and ongoing work. Key Responsibilities: Reading and interpreting reinforcement drawings Cutting, bending and fixing steel reinforcement Installing reinforcing bars and mesh to specification Working safely and efficiently to meet project deadlines Maintaining high standards of workmanship and site safetyRequirements: Proven experience as a Steel Fixer Valid CSCS Card (Blue or Gold preferred) Ability to read technical drawings Own PPE and relevant tools Strong work ethic and ability to work as part of a teamWhat's on Offer: Negotiable rate, depending on experience Immediate start available Ongoing work for the right candidate Weekly pay through First People Solutions Opportunity to work with a well-established contractorIf you're an experienced Steel Fixer looking for your next opportunity in Dumfries, we'd like to hear from you.
