About the role
SEN / SEMH Tutor 1:1 (Cambridge, In-Person) £20£25 per hour OCEM Ltd is looking for patient, reliable tutors to provide 1:1 support to young people across Cambridge.

This is a rewarding role working with students who may have SEMH needs, ASD, ADHD, or are in alternative provision .
What youll get: £20£25 per hour Flexible working hours (up to 30 hours/week) 1:1 teaching (no classroom pressure) Ongoing training & support Meaningful, impactful work The role: Deliver 1:1 sessions in literacy, numeracy & mentoring Support students with additional needs (SEMH / SEND) Create a positive, supportive learning environment Submit session reports Liaise with parents and OCEM team Youll be a great fit if you: Have experience with children or young people although not essential Are patient, empathetic and reliable Can work independently Are willing to travel locally in Cambridge Experience with SEMH, ASD or ADHD is highly desirable Requirements: Enhanced DBS (or willing to obtain) Ability to travel to students (public transport or car) Minimum GCSE (or equivalent) Additional info: Self-employed role Up to 15 hours per student (max 2 students) Training provided (including safeguarding) OCEM implements safeguarding protocols in all aspects of our working practices, and we are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
