Specialist Sales Consultant

As a Sales Specialist at Yamaha Music London, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experience while helping customers find the right musical instrument for their needs. You will combine expert product knowledge with a consultative sales approach to build lasting customer relationships and achieve individual and team sales targets. Working within a Yamaha flagship retail environment, you will represent the Yamaha brand with professionalism, enthusiasm, and a genuine passion for music. Deliver outstanding customer service to every visitor, creating a welcoming and engaging showroom experience. Provide expert advice across Yamaha's range of acoustic and digital pianos, keyboards, and other musical instruments. Consistently achieve and exceed individual and departmental sales targets. Build long-term relationships with customers through excellent after-sales support and follow-up communication. Manage enquiries via telephone, email, and in person in a timely and professional manner. Maintain accurate customer records using CRM systems and ensure sales documentation is completed correctly. Present the showroom to the highest standards, ensuring instruments are clean, well displayed, and demonstration-ready. Support in-store events, workshops, concerts, and promotional activities. Previous experience in a retail or consultative sales environment. Confident working towards sales targets and KPIs. Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems. Ability to work weekends and during busy retail periods. Knowledge of pianos, keyboards, or musical instruments. Playing ability on piano or another instrument.
