Senior Platform Engineer (Telephony Systems)

PiPcall is growing fast and were looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to take ownership of our core telephony platform.
What Youll Be Doing
Owning and developing PiPcalls Linux-based telephony platform
Designing, building, and supporting real-time systems using FreeSWITCH
Ensuring production systems are reliable, scalable, and performant
Diagnosing issues across application, system, and network layers
Analysing logs, metrics, and packet captures
Improving monitoring, observability, and automation
Working closely with engineers integrating backend services and APIs
What Were Looking For
Strong experience with Linux production systems or similar
Hands-on experience with FreeSWITCH or other SIP-based systems
Solid understanding of SIP, networking, and real-time communications
Confident troubleshooting skills (logs, tcpdump, Wireshark)
Scripting experience (Bash plus Python / Perl / PHP or similar)
Familiarity with relational databases
Comfortable taking ownership in a small, fast-moving team
