* Support the Grower Manager in all aspects of day-to-day growing on a large scale salad site
* Gain hands-on experience in crop walking, irrigation management, pest and disease monitoring, and biological control
* Use Priva systems to monitor climate, water use, EC, and pH, learning how to adjust conditions for optimal crop health
* Assist with tunnel preparation and planting, including spacing, planting depth, and early-stage crop protection
* Help maintain accurate growing records, spray logs, and traceability paperwork to ensure audit compliance
* Carrying out watering, feeding, and general husbandry tasks
* Helping maintain the growing environment across the glasshouse and poly tunnel areas
* Gradually take on more responsibility in crop planning, quality assessment, and growing decisions You: Background or qualification in horticulture, ideally some experience in salad, or fruit and protected cropping.
A basic understanding of plant biology, irrigation, pests, and disease management.
Experience in collaborating with staff and managing a team. xwzovoh
A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and strong attention to detail If you hold spray certificates (PA1/PA6), you'll also be involved in applying biological controls and agrochemicals, but if not, training can be provided.
