Key Stage 1 Teacher (KS1)
Location: Teignbridge area, Devon (partner school placement)
Pay: Paid to scale
Contract: Full-Time, Long-Term
Start Date: September 2026
Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting for a committed and enthusiastic Key Stage 1 Teacher to join one of our partner schools located in the Teignbridge area. This is a full-time position starting in September 2026, offering the opportunity to work within a supportive and welcoming primary setting.
This role would suit a passionate teacher who is confident delivering engaging KS1 learning experiences and is looking for a stable, long-term placement within a well-established school.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver high-quality lessons across Key Stage 1
Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development
Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents
Assess, track, and report on pupil progress effectively
We’re looking for:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience teaching within Key Stage 1 (or strong ECTs with KS1 placement experience)
Strong behaviour management and classroom organisation skills
A creative, nurturing, and proactive approach to teaching
A genuine passion for early primary education and pupil development
