Responsibilities As a Workshop-Based Fitter, your key responsibilities will include: Conducting maintenance, repairs, and servicing of piling machinery and equipment.
Diagnosing and resolving mechanical and hydraulic issues efficiently.
Ensuring all equipment is maintained to the highest safety and operational standards.
Collaborating with the team to ensure timely completion of projects.
Keeping accurate records of maintenance and repair work.
Adhering to company policies and health and safety regulations at all times.
Qualifications To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills: Proven experience working with plant machinery or piling equipment.
Strong mechanical and hydraulic knowledge.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
A proactive and team-oriented approach to work.
Relevant technical qualifications or certifications (preferred but not essential).
Day-to-Day Your typical day as a Workshop-Based Fitter will involve: Inspecting and diagnosing issues with piling machinery and equipment.
Performing routine maintenance and repairs in the workshop.
Collaborating with colleagues to ensure equipment is ready for deployment.
Responding to urgent repair needs and minimizing downtime.
Maintaining a clean and organized workshop environment.
