SEND Teaching Assistant – Full Time Location: Netherton, Sefton (L30) Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm Daily Rate: £100 – £106 (dependent on experience) Are you a passionate and dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant looking to make a real difference in a nurturing, inclusive school environment? We are working in partnership with a Primary SEND school, a warm and welcoming school at the heart of its community, to recruit a full-time Teaching Assistant. This is an exciting opportunity to join a setting where children are supported to feel safe, valued and inspired to achieve their very best. About the School The school is a highly inclusive primary school catering for children aged 3–11, with a strong commitment to supporting pupils with additional needs, including SEND provision across dedicated specialist classes. The school prides itself on nurturing the whole child—academically, socially and emotionally—creating confident, resilient learners ready for life beyond the classroom. The Role As a Teaching Assistant, you will: Support pupils across EYFS, KS1 or KS2 (including opportunities within SEND provision) Work closely with class teachers to deliver engaging and inclusive lessons Provide 1:1 and small group support where required Help create a positive, safe and stimulating learning environment Support pupils’ social, emotional and behavioural development The Ideal Candidate Experience working with children in a school or similar setting A nurturing, patient and adaptable approach Confidence supporting pupils with additional needs (desirable) Strong communication and teamwork skills A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development Why Apply?
