A supportive and inclusive primary school in Northampton is seeking a committed ASD Teacher to join their team immediately. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a specialist provision or nurture setting, supporting pupils with additional needs in a structured and caring environment. Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver tailored lessons to meet the individual needs of pupils with ASD Create a structured, predictable, and supportive classroom environment Use a range of strategies to support communication, behaviour, and engagement Work closely with teaching assistants and support staff to deliver high-quality provision Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting teaching approaches where needed Build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents/carers Support pupils' social, emotional, and academic development Ideal Candidate Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent Experience working with children with ASD, ideally within a primary setting Strong understanding of SEND and inclusive teaching practices Calm, patient, and nurturing approach to behaviour management Ability to adapt teaching to meet a range of complex needs Excellent communication and teamwork skills Passion for supporting children with additional needs to reach their full potential What the School Offers Full-time position in a supportive primary school in Northampton Immediate start with long-term and permanent potential Salary paid to scale (MPS/UPS depending on experience) Well-resourced learning environment and specialist support Ongoing CPD and SEND-focused training opportunities Strong leadership and a collaborative staff team Opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a specialist setting If you are passionate about inclusive education and ready to take on a rewarding role supporting pupils with ASD, this is an excellent opportunity to join a dedicated team.
