You’ll be working for a major local authority in the Cannock area, covering Rugeley and Hednesford, known for its strong team environment and commitment to maintaining its housing stock. This is an organisation where you’ll be valued for your contribution and trusted to deliver quality work in your role as a Grounds Worker.

As a Grounds Worker you will be:
Carrying out slabbing and paving works across domestic properties
Installing and repairing fencing
Completing small-scale brickwork such as steps and low walls
Supporting general external maintenance and improvement works
Working as part of a team, travelling from the depot in a company vehicle

Previous experience in grounds maintenance or external works
Experience with paving, fencing, or basic brickwork
The ability to work effectively within a team environment
A reliable and professional approach to work
The Grounds Worker role is offering the following benefits:
Competitive rate of £21-£22 per hour
37 hours per week (Monday–Thursday 8:00–16:00, Friday 8:00–15:30)
Use of company vehicle during working hours
Localised work patch across Cannock, Rugeley, and Hednesford
12-week contract with immediate start available
