Agricultural Parts Advisor

Parts Advisor Location: Colchester, Essex Hours: Full-time, 39 hours per week (Monday to Friday with Saturday mornings on a rota and overtime at peak times) Salary: £26,000 – £32,000 (depending on experience) We are recruiting for a motivated and reliable Parts Advisor to join a busy depot in Colchester. This is a varied role within a well-established business, supporting customers and internal teams with parts supply, stock control, and day-to-day operations. Role Overview You will be responsible for assisting customers with parts enquiries, processing orders, and supporting the smooth running of the parts department. This role combines customer service, administration, and stock management within a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Deal with customer enquiries face-to-face, over the phone, and via email Process parts orders and keep customers updated on progress Provide a high level of customer service at all times Manage stock, including receiving, checking, and storing parts correctly Assist with stock control and inventory management Support the wider team with day-to-day operations Maintain accurate records and system updatesSkills & Experience Required Previous experience in parts, retail, or a similar environment Background in agricultural, groundcare, or plant machinery desirable Strong communication and customer service skills Good IT skills and ability to use internal systems Organised, proactive, and able to work as part of a team Full UK driving licence requiredWhat’s on Offer Competitive salary of £26,000 – £32,000 depending on experience Overtime available (enhanced rates for weekends and bank holidays) 24 days holiday plus bank holidays Company pension scheme Life assurance and additional benefits Ongoing training and developmentHow to Apply If you're experienced and ready to take the next step with a well-established company, apply now.
