A well-regarded and growing property consultancy is seeking a qualified Rating Surveyor to join its established Business Rates / Rating Advisory team in London.

The role offers exposure to a high-quality and varied client base, advising on business rates appeals, assessments and strategic rating advice across a broad range of commercial property assets. You will work closely with experienced practitioners in a supportive, professional and friendly environment that values technical excellence and investing in the development of its staff.

The role:

• Advising clients on business rates liabilities, assessments and mitigation strategies.

• Preparing and progressing Check, Challenge and Appeal cases.

• Inspecting properties and analysing rental evidence and comparable data.

• Preparing clear, concise rating advice and submissions.

• Managing instructions end-to-end and maintaining strong client relationships.

• Keeping up to date with rating legislation, case law and market developments.

About you:

• MRICS qualified (essential).

• Experience in business rates / rating advisory.

• Strong analytical and numerical skills.

• Confident communicator with excellent written English.

• Commercially minded, organised and client-focused.

• Team player with a proactive approach to work.
