TeacherActive is excited to be working with a supportive and welcoming school in North Devon that is looking to appoint a full-time SEND Teaching Assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a committed team who go above and beyond to ensure every child has the opportunity to reach their full potential.
The successful SEND Teaching Assistant will support students on a 1:1 basis or in small groups, helping with classroom engagement, emotional regulation, and learning. This role will suit someone with a calm, patient and adaptable approach who is committed to inclusive education.
The successful SEND Teaching Assistant will have:
Experience working with children or young people with SEND (e.g. Autism, ADHD, SEMH)
A caring and proactive attitude
Good communication and teamwork skills
The ability to build strong, trusting relationships with pupils and staff
