Solutions QA Engineer (AI‑Driven Testing) Basingstoke | Hybrid (4 days office) £45,000 - £52,000 per annum | Full‑time CANNOT PROVIDE SPONSORSHIP Are you a QA Engineer excited by AI powered testing, automation, and modern validation techniques? Do you enjoy building smart test frameworks, working closely with engineers, and shipping high‑quality software that really matters? We're looking for a Solutions QA Engineer to join a growing delivery team working on mission critical, secure software solutions. What You'll Be Doing Own quality across complex software solutions through manual and automated testing Build and maintain Python based automation frameworks using Playwright Apply AI-driven testing tools and techniques (e.g. PyTest, TensorFlow, ML‑assisted validation) Use AI to optimise test coverage, detect defects earlier, and automate complex scenarios Work closely with developers and stakeholders in Agile/Scrum teams Translate requirements into clear, effective test cases and test plans Support customer-facing activities including acceptance testing, go-lives, demos, and training Stay ahead of the curve with AI testing, autonomous agents, and multi agent systems Occasional international travel (up to 30%) as part of project delivery What We're Looking For 3+ years' experience in QA / software testing Strong Python skills Hands-on test automation experience with Playwright Experience or exposure to AI/ML applications in testing Familiarity with AI testing frameworks (PyTest, TensorFlow or similar) Understanding of ML frameworks (e.g. PyTorch) and QA AI agents (e.g. PaperClip or similar) Comfortable using AI-powered IDEs such as PyCharm Solid knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies Experience with test management & defect tracking tools (Jira, Azure DevOps) Curious, proactive, and comfortable in fast‑paced environments Nice to have: ISTQB or AI-related certifications Services advertised by Gold Group are those of an Agency and/or an Employment Business.
