Salary: £40,000 per year + Bonuses

We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Care Home Manager to lead a residential care home in North London, supporting up to 23 residents specialising in elderly and dementia care.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an established Manager or an experienced Deputy Manager ready to step up into a leadership role within a CQC-rated Good service, supported by a dedicated off-site operations team.

Role Overview

As Care Home Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of the home, ensuring compliance with CQC standards and delivering high-quality, person-centred care.

You will lead and develop your team, maintain regulatory compliance, and drive continuous improvement across all aspects of the service.

Key Responsibilities

Safe

  • Safeguard residents from harm and ensure safe care practices
  • Oversee medication management and risk assessments
  • Ensure compliance with DoLS and safeguarding procedures
  • Conduct safety checks (fire, legionella, etc.)

Effective

  • Ensure residents healthcare and nutritional needs are met
  • Support staff development through supervision and training

Caring

  • Promote dignity, respect, and person-centred care
  • Build strong relationships with residents and families

Responsive

  • Review and update care plans
  • Respond to changing needs and feedback

Well-Led

  • Lead staff and resident meetings
  • Promote a positive, transparent culture
  • Drive continuous improvement xwzovoh and service quality
Requirements
  • NVQ Level 5 / RMA / QCF Level 5 (completed or working towards)
  • Experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager
  • Minimum 2 years experience within residential care management
  • Strong knowledge of CQC regulations
  • Experience in elderly and dementia care (essential)
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • IT literate (care systems, rostering, medication records)
Additional Information
  • Full-time, permanent role
  • Must have the right to work in the UK
  • Must be able to commute to North London or relocate
