Mobile Electrical Engineer Birmingham & Surrounding Areas £41,000 – £45,000 + Van, Fuel Card Join a well-established, nationwide facilities management company known for delivering high-quality building services across commercial sites. Due to continued growth, we’re expanding our presence in the Birmingham region and are looking for a skilled Mobile Electrical Engineer to support a range of key contracts. As a Mobile Electrical Engineer, you’ll be responsible for delivering both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works across a variety of commercial buildings. This is a field-based role covering Birmingham and the surrounding areas, offering a varied workload and the opportunity to work across multiple systems and environments. Key Responsibilities: Carry out PPM and reactive electrical maintenance Install, service, and repair electrical systems and equipment Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently Ensure compliance with current regulations and health & safety standards Provide support across multiple commercial sites Work independently or alongside other engineers when required Systems & Equipment: Power & Distribution Generators HVAC systems Pumps & Motors UPS systems Water treatment systems Requirements: Fully qualified electrician (Level 3 City & Guilds or equivalent) Proven experience within building services or commercial maintenance Strong fault-finding and problem-solving ability Good understanding of compliance and safety standards Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently Full UK driving licence Able to pass a DBS check What’s on Offer: Salary of £41,000 – £45,000 Company van and fuel card Tools and PDA provided Overtime opportunities available Ongoing training and development Clear progression routes within the business This is a great opportunity to join a reputable company with a strong pipeline of work and excellent staff retention.
