Mechanical Estimator – Building Services Location: Brighton/ South Coast Salary: (DOE) Type: Permanent A growing M&E Building Services contractor is looking to recruit a Mechanical Estimator to join their commercial team. This role is open to candidates at different levels – whether you are an Intermediate Estimator looking to step up or a more experienced Mechanical Estimator seeking a new challenge, there is flexibility depending on experience. You will be involved in pricing mechanical packages across a range of commercial projects, working closely with internal teams to deliver competitive and accurate tenders. Responsibilities * Preparing detailed mechanical estimates (HVAC, plumbing, pipework etc.) * Reviewing drawings, specifications and tender documentation * Completing take-offs and quantifying works * Obtaining and analysing supplier and subcontractor quotations * Pricing labour, materials and programme requirements * Supporting tender submissions and commercial strategy Requirements * Experience within mechanical building services estimating * Understanding of HVAC, plumbing and mechanical systems * Ability to read and interpret construction drawings * Commercial awareness and attention to detail * Strong communication skills The Opportunity This is an opportunity to join a growing contractor where there is genuine flexibility around the level of hire.
