Skilled Warehouse Operative

The Best Connection are seeking a Skilled Warehouse Operative to work for our client based in Central Southampton. Duties to include but not limited to: Handling and moving steel stock safely within the warehouse Operating machinery including forklift trucks, overhead cranes, and bandsaws Loading and unloading deliveries Picking and preparing orders accurately Maintaining a clean and safe working environment Adhering to all health and safety regulationsJob requirements: Previous experience working in a steel or heavy-duty warehouse environment (preferred) Valid counterbalance forklift licence Experience operating overhead cranes and bandsaws (advantageous) Strong work ethic and reliability Ability to work independently and as part of a teamWorking hours are 0800 to 1700, Monday to Friday. Pay rate of £13.45 per hour, weekly pay. This is an ongoing role, with the potential to go permanent following a successful trial period. Please call or apply if interested!
