Production Operative

Frontline Recritment Derby Ltd are hiring dedicated Production Operatives to join their clients manufacturing team. The successful candidates will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe operation of production equipment, maintaining high standards of health & safety and supporting continuous production processes. This role offers an opportunity to develop skills within a busy environment, contributing to the delivery of quality products in compliance with industry standards. Responsibilities: You’ll work in a factory/plant helping run the site safely and efficiently. This includes handling materials, operating machinery, and making sure everything runs smoothly. Working hours (rotating weekly shifts) * 6 am – 2 pm * 2 pm – 10 pm * 10 pm – 6 am Salary: Starting at £15.10 ph plus overtime at enhanced rates What you’ll do * Move and process materials (milling, bagging, loading, transport) * Operate machines and keep them running properly * Follow all health & safety rules * Keep the site clean and organised * Check product quality and report any problems * Help complete orders on time * Keep track of stock * Report damage, faults, or waste * Work with the team to improve efficiency Your responsibilities Work safely at all times Help ensure the site runs efficiently Look out for others’ safety as well as your own What we are looking for (essential) Strong focus on safety Good attention to detail Ability to spot and fix problems Team player Some experience with machinery/production work/flt/loading shovel Willing to do repetitive tasks Desirable licenses/experience * Counter Balance Forklift licence * Loading Shovel License In short A hands-on factory role where you: * Operate machinery * Move materials * Work shifts * Focus heavily on safety and teamwork * FLT/loading shovel license and experience If you have the right experience for these vacancies we urge you to apply ASAP!
