Location: Brent, NW10
Contract: Long-term/Permanent
Salary: MPS/UPS + SEN Allowance (dependent on experience)
Start Date: 1/6/2026
Commutable From: Wembley, Harrow, Ealing, Kilburn, Willesden
The Opportunity:
Long Term Futures are seeking an experienced SEN Teacher to join an amazing specialist school in the Brent area.
The school supports pupils with a range of complex needs, including Autism (ASD), SEMH, and communication difficulties, within a structured and nurturing environment. This is a rewarding opportunity to deliver personalised education that supports both academic progress and emotional development.
Your Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver differentiated lessons tailored to pupils with SEN
* Support students with Autism, SEMH, and additional learning needs
* Implement EHCP targets and personalised learning plans
* Create a safe, structured, and engaging classroom environment
* Work collaboratively with support staff, therapists, and leadership
* Monitor and track pupil progress, adapting strategies where needed
* Build strong, supportive relationships with pupils and families
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience working with SEN pupils, ideally in a specialist setting
* Strong understanding of Autism, SEMH, and differentiated teaching approaches
* Excellent communication and behaviour management skills
* Patient, adaptable, and nurturing approach
* Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education
