You will work with a small group of approximately 4–5 students who have been temporarily removed from mainstream classes. Delivering calm, consistent routines and targeted interventions
Helping students reflect on behaviour and develop strategies for success
Working closely with pastoral leaders, SEN staff, and teaching colleagues

Contributing to safeguarding, monitoring, and professional record‑keeping
About the School
A well‑established and highly regarded secondary school serving the local Salisbury community
Strong values rooted in care, respect, and personal responsibility
Clear behaviour systems and a strong focus on student wellbeing
A supportive leadership team with a well‑developed pastoral structure
Committed to inclusion, high expectations, and positive outcomes for all learners
What We’re Looking For
Experience working in a pastoral, behaviour, SEN, or alternative provision role
Qualified teacher or experienced unqualified teacher with strong pastoral expertise
A calm, resilient, and empathetic approach
Genuine passion for pastoral support and student wellbeing (essential)
Strong behaviour management and relationship‑building skills
Ability to work collaboratively within a pastoral and SEN framework

Long‑term opportunity with the potential to become permanent
Supportive and values‑driven school environment
Opportunity to make a lasting impact on students who need it most
A highly rewarding pastoral teaching role outside of mainstream classroom pressures
