Project Manager

Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 per annum Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Working Hours: Monday to Friday – Day Shifts We are looking for a site-focused Project Manager with proven experience delivering building maintenance, refurbishment. This is a mixture of a hands-on, site-based role and digital project management. You will be responsible for managing live construction environments, coordinating trades, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. This positions require security clearance due to the environments you will be working in. This role would suit someone from a Engineering, building, or trades background who has progressed into project management. Key Responsibilities * Manage refurbishment, and maintenance projects from pre-start through to completion * Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, tradespeople, and on-site teams * Oversee daily site operations, ensuring work is carried out safely and efficiently * Plan and track project programmes using tools such as Microsoft Project * Monitor project costs, variations, and budgets * Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and site standards * Conduct regular site visits, inspections, and progress meetings * Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth delivery * Ensure all works meet required quality and building standards Requirements * Minimum 2+ years’ experience in project management, specifically within building, maintenance, or refurbishment * Strong understanding of site operations and sequencing of works * Experience using micrsoft project or similar softwares * Experience managing subcontractors and multiple trades on live sites * Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and scopes of work * Experience working in site-based or field-based roles * Strong organisational and communication skills * Full UK driving licence * SMSTS What We Offer * Competitive salary * Monday to Friday day shifts * Stable, full-time permanent role * Opportunities for progression within a growing business * Supportive and practical working environment
