Up to £42,000 per annum (dependent on experience, not pro rata)
37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Permanent | Term Time Only

About the Opportunity
SEND Inclusion Support is proud to be supporting a specialist education setting in the Walsall area to recruit a dedicated and passionate SEN Teacher.
This is a rewarding opportunity to make a genuine impact—delivering personalised, high-quality teaching to pupils with a range of additional needs. You’ll work with individuals and small groups, helping to create a structured, nurturing environment where pupils can grow academically, socially, and emotionally.
You’ll be part of a collaborative team, adapting learning approaches to ensure every pupil feels supported, engaged, and able to succeed.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan, deliver and adapt engaging lessons tailored to individual and small group needs
* Monitor and assess pupil progress, ensuring learning remains responsive and purposeful
* Develop and review Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behaviour strategies
* Create a safe, inclusive and well-structured classroom environment
* Support pupils’ academic, social, emotional and moral development
* Contribute to curriculum planning, assessment and reporting across key stages or subjects
About You
We’re looking for someone who is:
* Holds QTS (or equivalent) and a relevant degree
* Strong knowledge of SEN, including SEMH, ASC, learning difficulties and complex needs
* Able to build trust with pupils who may have experienced challenges
* A strong communicator who thrives in a team environment
* Able to tailor teaching approaches to meet diverse learning needs
About the Setting
This specialist provision supports autistic pupils who may have additional needs including Learning Disability, and the behaviours that may challenge resulting from those diagnoses.
With small class sizes and a highly personalised approach, the setting provides a nurturing environment where pupils can re-engage with education, build confidence, and develop positive relationships. The focus is on both academic progress and personal growth, preparing pupils for life beyond education.
