Hours:Full-time, 35 hours per week (MondayFriday, flexible between 7am5pm)

About the Role

We are looking for an experiencedTechnical Managerto lead our Technical team. You will be responsible for ensuring all electrical products meet required safety, legal, and quality standards, while supporting continuous improvement across our product range and supply base.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the technical team to deliver company quality and compliance objectives
• Oversee product testing, factory audits, and pre-shipment inspections
• Ensure all products are safe, compliant, and fit for purpose
• Monitor and report on product quality performance and standards
• Identify and implement product improvements and cost-saving opportunities
• Manage supplier performance and support quality improvement programmes
• Handle customer complaints and ensure timely resolution
• Work closely with internal teams and external partners, including manufacturers and testing agencies

What Were Looking For

• Degree (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
• 10+ years experience in manufacturing, product testing, or laboratory environments (electrical appliances)
• At least 3 years experience managing a team
• Strong understanding of product safety standards (e.g. LVD, EMC, RoHS)
• Experience with product testing, audits, and technical xwzovoh documentation (TCF)
• Confident communicator with strong leadership skills
• Highly organised, detail-focused, and quality-driven
