Teacher – Primary & Secondary (SEMH) Market Harborough, Leicestershire Permanent | Full Time £32,916 – £49,232 (M1–UPS2) – dependent on experience & qualifications An exciting opportunity to join a brand‑new specialist school opening in late 2026. About the Role We are seeking enthusiastic and skilled classroom teachers (primary and/or secondary) who are passionate about making a real difference in the lives of young people. As a Teacher, you will deliver high‑quality teaching and learning, tailored to meet individual needs, while working closely with a multi‑disciplinary team to create a positive and supportive learning environment. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons Set personalised learning targets and monitor pupil progress Communicate effectively with parents, carers and senior leaders Lead or contribute to a subject or curriculum area Manage and supervise classroom support staff Ensure compliance with safeguarding, equality, and health & safety policies ✅ Skills & Qualifications Essential: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Experience teaching a thematic curriculum (primary or secondary) Experience within special school settings, particularly SEMH and SEND Strong understanding of the national curriculum Proven ability to differentiate learning to meet diverse needs Working knowledge of ASC and SEMH, including complex presentations Desirable: Additional SEND qualifications Experience contributing to curriculum development for SEND learners A nurturing, empathetic approach to relationship‑building  Additional Information Closing date: Thursday 7th May at 12pm Interviews: Wednesday 13th May (venue TBC) Support is available for progression onto the Upper Pay Scale, subject to experience and responsibility All successful applicants are subject to enhanced safeguarding and DBS checks.
