Handyman – Permanent Location: West Kent Salary: Competitive Sector: Social Housing / Property Maintenance Build Recruitment are working with a leading Housing Association to recruit a Handyperson to carry out minor repairs and safety checks across residential properties in West Kent. Key Responsibilities: Carry out health & safety checks (fire alarms, emergency lighting, water testing) Complete minor repairs – basic plumbing, carpentry and general maintenance Support communal areas and older persons’ schemes Assist with garage inspections and upkeep Deliver/install equipment (e.g. dehumidifiers, heaters) Work alongside colleagues on two-person jobs when required Report additional repairs and maintain van stockRequirements: Experience in general maintenance or multi-trade work Basic skills in plumbing and carpentry Good communication and customer service Able to work independently Full UK Driving LicenceBenefits: Company van provided Long-term, stable role Optional on-call rota with extra payApply: Apply now or contact Ben Thomas at Build Recruitment: (phone number removed) (url removed)
