About the role

Food Technology Teacher Prospero Teaching are currently recruiting a Food Technology Teacher for an independent SEMH School based in Totton, Hampshire, with an immediate start. The school supports KS3 and KS4 secondary students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and Additional Learning Difficulties. The Totton site is small, bespoke, and well-resourced, offering a highly supportive and nurturing environment. Facilities include dedicated design technology spaces, food technology classrooms, construction provision, an IT suite, and outdoor gym and play areas, all designed to help pupils reach their full potential. Students often require support to build trusting relationships with staff, so you will have high expectations, patience, and a belief that every young person can succeed. You will bring creativity and flexibility to your lessons, helping to engage learners both onsite and offsite, and contribute positively to a committed multidisciplinary team.
