7.5t Delivery Driver

Starting on £34,000 you will increase £1,000 each time after completing 6 and 12 months of service to £36,000 per annum

Role summary:
To deliver customers' products to the required premises ensuring all customers receive exceptional customer service as part of a multi-drop delivery route. The driver will ensure that all products are transported safely to the customers' premises, treating their freight as if it were their own.
Key responsibilities
Represent DX in a professional manner at all timesDrive vehicles in a safe and legal manner ensuring compliance with all legal and company requirements at all timesAll daily checks are undertaken ensuring defects are immediately reported and correct paperwork completedEnsure all product are scanned using DX scanning equipmentEnsure all deliveries are loaded safely prior to leaving the depotObserve DX procedures and policies at all timesManage your routing to ensure premium and timed deliveries are achievedEnsure the correct equipment and PPE, (personal protective equipment) is in good order and used at all timesEnsure all delivery and on road issues are reported to the traffic office immediatelyEnsure the customer receives their deliveries in excellent condition every timeDeal with any customer issues in a polite and effective mannerEnsure collections are made in line with given instructions and times
Essential Criteria
Must hold C1 or above on license with valid DQC and Tacho cardMaximum of 6 points on license and no bansTakes pride in delivering exceptional customer serviceAbility to build a rapport with customers
