Job Title: QTS Tutor (Gateshead) Location: Gateshead Pay Rate: GBP25 per hour (starting rate) Job Type: Temporary | Part-Time | 20 hours per week Start Date: May 2026 Key Responsibilities: Deliver one-to-one GCSE English and Maths tuition, tailored to meet individual learning needs. Adapt teaching methods and materials to support student progress. Assist students with study skills, revision strategies, and exam preparation. Build positive, trusting relationships with students to create a supportive learning environment. Provide regular feedback to parents/carers and professionals to track student progress. Requirements: QTS (Qualified Teacher Status). Minimum 1 year of experience teaching or tutoring English or Maths, ideally at GCSE level. Right to work in the UK. Must have, or be willing to undertake, an Enhanced DBS check. Qualifications: Experience teaching both English and Maths at GCSE level.
