People Solutions are currently recruiting for a HGV Class 2 ADR Driver to join our well-established client based in Nuneaton, Warwickshire. This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay and genuine opportunities for growth and progression.

This position is ideal for applicants looking for a role as a LGV Class 2 Driver, Category C Driver or Truck Driver.

Shifts: Monday to Friday, start times between 4:00am – 7:00am

Rates of Pay: £17.00 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties

•   Carry out RDC work (curtain-side, no handball required)
•   Operate and drive Class 2 vehicles safely and efficiently to and from delivery locations
•   Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
•   Ensure all cargo is loaded and secured properly
•   Adhere to traffic laws and regulations
•   Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers
•   Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management
•   Assist with loading and unloading of cargo when required

Essential Skills

•   Valid UK Category C Licence
•   Minimum of 12 months' experience driving C vehicles
•   Valid ADR qualification
•   No more than six penalty points for minor infringements, with no major endorsement codes
•   Valid UK CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card
•   Good spoken and written English
•   Excellent punctuality and timekeeping
•   Strong understanding of traffic laws and regulations
•   Effective communication skills

Desirable Experience

•   Previous commercial driving experience
•   Previous multi-drop delivery experience

Training Provided

•   Driver's assessment must be completed before starting
•   One-day paid induction following successful assessment
