Project Manager Location: Cambridgeshire (Hybrid Working) Salary: £50,000 – £57,000 + Benefits The Opportunity We’re looking for an experienced Project Manager to take ownership of complex, bespoke engineering projects within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role where you’ll manage the full lifecycle — from concept and design through to installation and commissioning. You’ll work closely with Sales, Design, and Manufacturing teams to deliver high-quality solutions on time and within budget. The Role * Take full ownership of projects from award to completion * Manage project plans, timelines, budgets, and risks * Act as the main point of contact for customers * Develop technical solutions and layout concepts * Work closely with design teams to deliver detailed engineering outputs * Oversee manufacture, installation, and commissioning * Identify improvements to cost, efficiency, and performance What We’re Looking For * Proven experience as a Project Manager or Senior Engineer * Background in capital equipment, automation, or manufacturing * Strong technical understanding of mechanical systems (conveyors, motors, pneumatics) * Experience managing full project lifecycles * Commercial awareness and customer-facing experience * CAD knowledge (SolidWorks preferred) Desirable: * Food processing or production line experience * Knowledge of hygiene standards and industry regulations * Project management qualifications (PRINCE2, PMP) What’s On Offer * £50,000 – £57,000 salary * 25 days holiday + bank holidays * Pension scheme * Car pool access * Hybrid working * Laptop and mobile provided
