Housekeeping/cleaning Team Member

n Salary: £13.60 per hour\n \n For this role, we are currently considering candidates who live within approximately 15 miles of the Service. This ensures commutes are manageable and support your wellbeing and work-life balance. We are looking for a reliable and caring Housekeeper to join our team at MHA. This is an important role, helping to maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment where residents feel comfortable, respected and at home. \As a Housekeeper, you will play a key part in supporting residents’ wellbeing by maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the home, while always respecting dignity, privacy and individual needs. \Follow daily and weekly cleaning schedules to maintain high standards of cleanliness across the home. \Clean residents’ rooms, communal areas, bathrooms, kitchens and other designated areas using appropriate methods and equipment. \Assist with laundry tasks, including bedding where required. \Safely use, store and control cleaning materials in line with COSHH and health & safety requirements. \Monitor cleaning equipment and report faults or arrange repairs as required. \Dispose of waste safely and appropriately. \Attend training, staff meetings, supervisions and appraisals as required. \Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience (essential). \Training in health and safety (essential). \The ability to follow cleaning routines and work independently when required. \Sensitivity to the needs of older people. \A flexible approach to work, including covering on-call or emergency situations when needed. \A QCF Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided. \You will be joining an organisation with strong values and a commitment to helping people live later life well.
