Oxy Propane Scrap Burner | Demolition Burner | Scrap Burner Luton | Up to £22 per hour DOE | Monday-Friday | 7am-5pm | 50 Hours per Week | Long-Term Introduction Acorn by Synergie is recruiting an experienced Oxy Propane Scrap Burner to join a demolition contractor on a long-term project in Luton. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced scrap burner, demolition burner or oxy burner with the relevant qualifications and site experience to secure ongoing work with a respected contractor. What We Offer Up to £22 per hour, depending on experience. Monday to Friday working pattern. 7am-5pm shifts. 50 hours per week. Long-term opportunity. Overtime may be available. Ongoing support from Acorn by Synergie. Key Duties Cut and process scrap metal safely using oxy-propane equipment. Operate an oxy-propane burning gun in line with site procedures. Work safely within a demolition, scrap or recycling environment. Follow all relevant health and safety procedures and risk assessments. Maintain equipment and report any defects or safety concerns. Work effectively as part of a wider site team. Requirements Proven experience cutting scrap metal using oxy-propane equipment. Valid oxy-propane burning certification or NVQ Welding qualification. Previous experience as a demolition or scrap burner. CSCS card required. CCDO qualification desirable. Previous experience within demolition, scrap or recycling environments. Good level of physical fitness. Full UK driving licence. Excellent references available. Interested?
