The Role: What Does an Exam Invigilator Do? As an Exam Invigilator, you will play a key role in ensuring exams are conducted fairly and in line with regulations. Responsibilities include: Setting up exam rooms in line with guidelines Checking student attendance and identification Distributing and collecting exam papers Supervising students during exams to maintain a calm and controlled environment Ensuring exam conditions are strictly followed at all times You’ll be trusted to remain vigilant, approachable, and professional throughout. Additional Roles Available: Readers & Scribes We are also recruiting for Readers and Scribes, which are vital support roles for students with additional needs: Readers: Read exam questions aloud to students who require assistance Scribes: Write or type responses on behalf of students as they dictate These roles require: Strong communication skills Excellent written English Patience, empathy, and a calm approach (Previous experience is beneficial but not essential – full guidance will be provided.)
