Telehandler Driver

Job Opportunity: Telehandler Operator (Holiday Cover) We are seeking an experienced and professional Telehandler Operator for a short-term contract in Burton-on-Trent. This role is providing essential holiday cover on a busy, fast-paced residential housing site. The Details Start Date: Tuesday, 26th May Duration: 2 Weeks (Holiday Cover) Location: Burton-on-Trent (Residential Site) Rate: Competitive hourly rate (dependent on experience/payment Method) Key Responsibilities Material Distribution: Safely transporting materials (bricks, blocks, timber, etc.) across the site to support various trades. Loading/Unloading: Efficiently managing deliveries and ensuring stock is stored correctly. Site Safety: Operating the machine in a safe manner, adhering to site speed limits and pedestrian management plans. Daily Checks: Performing routine maintenance and safety checks on the telehandler. Requirements To be considered for this role, you must possess one of the following valid cards: CPCS Blue Card (Competent Operator) NPORS (With CSCS Logo) Additional Requirements: Full PPE (Hard hat, High-vis, Steel toe boots). Proven experience working on housing sites. Reliable transport to the Burton-on-Trent area. Strong communication skills to coordinate with the Site Manager and subcontractors.
