Fire & Security Engineer (Service & Installation)

Overview: We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a skilled and motivated Fire & Security Engineer. This role involves both service and installation work across a range of systems including fire alarms, intruder alarms, access control, and CCTV. You will be covering Greater London and surrounding areas, working on a variety of commercial and residential sites. Key Responsibilities: * Service, maintenance, and fault-finding on fire alarm systems * Installation and commissioning of fire detection and alarm systems * Installation, servicing, and maintenance of intruder alarms * Installation and support of access control systems * Installation and maintenance of CCTV systems (IP and analogue) * Ensure all work is completed to relevant industry standards and regulations * Provide excellent customer service and technical support on-site * Accurately complete job reports and documentation Requirements: * Proven experience working with fire and security systems * Strong knowledge of fire alarms, intruder alarms, access control, and CCTV * Experience in both installation and service roles * Familiarity with relevant standards (e.g., BS5839) * Full UK driving licence * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Good communication and problem-solving skills Desirable: * FIA, ECS, or other relevant certifications * Experience working in commercial environments * Knowledge of multiple manufacturers' systems What We Offer: * Competitive salary (£40,000 – £45,000 depending on experience) * Company vehicle and fuel card * Overtime opportunities * Ongoing training and development * Pension scheme * Supportive and professional working environment Apply Now: If you are a dedicated Fire & Security Engineer looking for your next opportunity, please apply today for immediate consideration.
