The Role: Seeking an experienced CNC Operator / Setter to work on Star sliding head machines using Fanuc controls. Youll be setting, operating, and producing precision components to tight tolerances.
Key Responsibilities:
Set and operate CNC sliding head machines (Star)
Work with Fanuc control systems
Produce high-precision components
Read and interpret engineering drawings
Carry out quality checks
Maintain efficient machine operation
Requirements:
5+ years CNC setting/operating experience
Experience with Star or Citizen sliding head machines
Strong Fanuc knowledge
Apprenticeship in CNC/Engineering preferred
Fixed head lathe experience xwzovoh beneficial
Please note: CNC Milling experience is not relevant for this role.
Hours: Monday Thursday: 7:30am 5:00pm Friday: 7:30am 2:00pm (42.5 hours per week)
Salary:
Between37 000£ and 42 000£ per annum
