School Receptionist - Immediate Start - Ongoing Cover - £16 - £18 per Hour We are currently recruiting for a reliable and professional School Receptionist to start ASAP in a school setting. This role is to cover an ongoing staff absence and will run initially until Wednesday 6th May, with the potential to be extended following review. The Role: You will be the first point of contact for visitors, staff, and students, ensuring a welcoming and professional front-of-house service. This is a relatively quiet reception, allowing time to support with general administrative tasks. Key Responsibilities: Greeting visitors and managing the front desk Answering and directing telephone calls Using the school radio system for on-calls Responding to general enquiries from staff, students, and visitors Supporting with basic administrative tasks Using systems such as Excel and Word for data and admin dutiesThe Ideal Candidate: Previous experience in a receptionist or school office role Professional, organised, and approachable manner Confident using Microsoft Excel and Word Knowledge of Arbor is highly Essential Able to start immediatelyWorking Hours: 7:45am - 4:15pm 1-hour unpaid lunch breakThe Role Offers: Immediate start Short-term role with potential extension Supportive school environment Competitive rate of £16 - £18 per hourIf you are available immediately and have the relevant experience, we would like to hear from you.
