Inspector (Day Shift)

Job Title: Inspector  Location: Leamington Spa  2 Available Shifts:  Day Shift: Mon-Thurs 7am-3pm, Friday 7am-1pm, Hourly Rate: £15.58-16.68 DOE  Night Shift: Mon-Thurs 9.15-pm - 6am, Hourly Rate: £20.02 including 20% shift allowance  The Role We are seeking to employ a fully skilled Inspector working on small batch work. This role involves working in a small team to deliver high quality transmission components, with a right first-time philosophy. As an Inspector your duties will include: Interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and geometric tolerances Inspecting components against drawings and route cards within defined timeframes Using manual measuring equipment to carry out detailed component inspection Programming and operating CMM equipment (where required) Identifying non-conformances and supporting problem-solving activities  The successful Inspector will have the below skills & experience: Strong understanding of technical drawings and geometric tolerances Ability to interpret and inspect components from drawings and planning route cards to the highest quality and within routed timeframes Experience using manual measuring equipment and performing table work to check parts against drawing or planning requirements Programming experience on CMM and knowledge of Mitutoyo software would be advantageous Demonstrates a proactive and innovative approach to team support, with a strong focus on problem solving and continuous improvement Flexible in supporting other areas of manufacturing when required Willingness to work additional hours to meet delivery deadlines  This company want you to know how much you are valued.
